What do the Yankees need?

At 55- 45, 3.5 games out of first place and 3 games out of the Wild Card, the Bombers obviously need some help. People have been clamouring for an outfielder that can hit from the right side, a starter, and a lefty out of the bullpen. I think the most important piece to the playoff puzzle is outfield help. I'm a huge Brett Gardner fan but right now you could just see that he is completely lost at the plate. I think he might need to get sent down eventually because he isn't doing the things at the dish that got him called up to the Major Leagues.
Acquiring a starter is another possibility for the Yanks, although I don't know if any starters are worth their asking price. With so many buyers in this trade market the price for a decent starter could and should be too high for the Yankees to bite.
A left-hander out of the bullpen is also being considered by the club. The price for a decent lefty reliever is always high and this season will be no different.
