Joba Chamberlain is being sent down to Alabama to meet with specialist Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion, which cannot be good news. It looks like Ian Kennedy will be brought up to start either Friday or Saturday in Anaheim. If the Yankees loose Joba for any sort of extended period of time they are in trouble. They lost last night after Andy Pettitte didn't pitch exceptionally well, and tonight Sir Sidney is on the mound, the Knight with the 1.66 WHIP.
Some good news coming out of Tampa, Phil Hughes will start Thursday night in Scranton-Wilkes Barre. He will get up to 65-70 pitches, hopefully one or two more starts and he can be brought up and see if he can help this mess of a rotation.
